With the rise in the number of marketing tools, it has come delicate to find a responsible one. Hence, after trying many tools over the past years, here is a list of tools that I found to be helpful. Some of them are free and others come with an affordable investment.

The list here will cover:

  • Social Media Tools
  • SEO & Keywords
  • Content Creation
  • Analytics
  • Design
  • Email Marketing & Lead Generation

1. Canva

I believe by now you have heard about this platform and there is a good reason why. Canva (which comes from the words “canvas” and “create”) is a web-based design tool that lets you create professional designs with a wide range of templates and layouts that are optimized for different devices.

It is a tool for those who don’t have any graphic design experience to create catchy yet simple graphics like presentations, posters, invitations, flyers, cards, logos, and social media posts. And most recently, they added a feature that allows you to upload and edit any PDF file and customize it on the spot.

Its wide range of services has made Canva grow into an online platform with more than 100 million users in over 190 countries around the world since its inception in 2012.

The website has both free and premium services available to customers with different needs, although I believe that the free plan is sufficient to accomplish many needs.

2. Sendinblue

Sendinblue offers a full suite of free email marketing services that send and manage newsletters, automate emails, track performance, and more. All with beautifully-designed easy-to-use drag-and-drop email templates. They also offer other services like lead generation and landing pages.

With Sendinblue’s comprehensive suite of email marketing tools, you can easily engage your audience with personalized messages delivered at just the right time to build deeper customer relationships, and segment your list so the right people get the right information. It is one of the best email marketing tools I found in terms of services and on top of that, FREE!

It comes with a paid version that allows you to send more than 20K emails a month but I believe the free version is more than enough to get started (depending on the size of your business and customer base).

3. Buffer

Buffer is a social media management platform that helps users publish content on different social media platforms.

It provides a way to schedule posts, track the performance of posts, and find new content to share with your followers. What’s interesting is that it is possible to share content from other websites and articles from around the web without having to leave the app.

It has free and premium plans as well. The free plan allows you to connect a profile from each network (one from Facebook, one from Twitter, etc.) and to schedule ahead 10 posts for each network.

Another interesting thing about Buffer is the mobile app which allows users to post updates as soon as they can think of them, even when they are offline. This means that people who are always on the go can still manage their social media accounts without any hassle.

(Other alternatives are Hootsuite and ZohoSocial)

4. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a powerful tool for understanding the traffic of your website.

It provides information about how users are coming to your site, what they do on your site, how long do they stay on your site, and where they go when they leave it. It is available for free and offers many other benefits so you should definitely give it a try. It also allows you to set up conversion goals so you can measure the effectiveness of different marketing campaigns. It is a true one-stop-shop.

The following easy-to-follow video explains how to set up Google Analytics on your website easily in 10 minutes.

There are other free alternatives out there but I believe GA is by far the best available and comprehensive source.

5. Answer The Public

It is one thing to write about something but it is another thing to see that what you are writing about is not getting enough attention or conversion. This is where Answer The Public comes in handy.

Answer The Public is a great resource for finding out what people are searching for online. By understanding what people are looking for, you can provide them with the content they need, when they need it. So, if you’re looking for a way to understand what people want, and to provide them with the content they need based on your keyword and their interests around it.

It is free to use and a good way to get started.

(Other advanced and freemium tools are Ahrefs and UberSuggest)

6. Rytr.me

There are various content creation AI tools available that can help content creators make enticing content while saving more time, and Ryte.me is one that you don’t want to miss.

Whether you are writing a blog, a product description, intro, or paragraphs, SMS messages, landing pages, CTA, emails, Q & A, or many other materials, Ryte.me help users in improving their productivity and efficiency while creating a high-quality content. All you can do is simply feed the AI with some keywords that relate to what you want to write about and it will do the rest for you. In fact, I used Ryte.me for making the intro for this blog post.

Remember that the job of any AI writing tool is to improve the quality of content by providing ideas, samples, and editing suggestions. They can never replace the feedback a human can make so make sure that your copy is reflecting the tone of voice intended.

7. Alternativeto.net

Let’s face it, there are plenty of expensive software platforms out there in multiple domains from team management to communication to IT and others that most refrain from due to their pricing. That’s where Alternativeto.net comes to solve that for you.

It is a great resource for finding alternatives to popular software that is rated by users to give a realistic overview about each software. Whether you work in sales, marketing, social media, team communication, project management or other fields, alternativeto.net has FREE and less expensive premium softwares for you.

It has a consumer rating of 4.67 stars from 6 reviews indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. I have personally tried it twice before and found very useful alternatives.

In conclusion, marketing tools are a vital part of any business. They can help you reach new customers, promote your products or services, and improve your bottom line. While there are many tools to choose from, the most important thing is to find one that works for you the most. With a little effort and a bit of creativity, you can develop a successful marketing campaign that will help your business grow and delight your customers in the long run.
