Introduction Two high altitude meadows, “Ali” and “Bedni,” are located at a height of 3375 metres in the Garhwal Himalayas close to the settlement of Wan; they are also on the way to Roopkund, or “Mystery Lake.”All year long, there is rich vegetation all around these meadows.The most memorable part of this walk is camping beneath a tranquil sky filled with brilliant stars in the stillness of the night.Nothing more could be wanted than the peace and quiet of this mountain-ringed location.
